Ph.D. in Language and Communication
I completed my Master’s degree in English for Professional Development at NIDA and wrote the thesis “Original or Translated Version: Perceptions and Preferences toward British and American Literature of University Students and Lecturers” to observe language preferences of Thai literary readers. I continued studying at NIDA for a Doctoral degree in Language and Communication to further understand the uses and effects of language in fictions. My research interests are popular culture, literary criticism, sociology in communication, and cultural language studies. I am interested in how English is used as a tool to construct narratives that communicate aspects of humanity.
