This course studies the basic structure of Japanese sentences, vocabulary, Kanji characters, and idioms. Students will acquire approximately 300 vocabulary words and about 40 everyday Kanji characters. They will enhance listening and speaking skills for discussing events in daily life, as well as reading and writing short texts.
